Gender equality workshop

A workshop on Gender Equality was conducted on 24 December 2025 at Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur for Semester II and IV students, with 42 participants. The session was led by Mr. Mahendra as the resource person and concluded by Mr. Harsh Joshi, English Faculty. Through interactive discussions and activities, the workshop addressed gender roles, stereotypes, and discrimination, fostering critical thinking, empathy, and social awareness among students.

Self defence for women

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, in collaboration with Lions Club Gandhidham, organized a One Day Workshop on “Self Defence for Women” on 30 December 2025 at M Hall. The workshop, conducted under the CWDC (Cell for Women Development Committee), aimed to empower female students with essential self-protection skills, confidence, and personal safety awareness. A total of 50 girl students actively participated in the session and learned practical self-defence techniques. The programme successfully enhanced awareness about personal safety and encouraged students to be more confident and prepared in challenging situations.

One day paper bag making workshop

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur–Kachchh, through the CWDC Cell and Eco Club in collaboration with Tolani Anjana Hazari Community Development Cell, organized a One Day Paper Bag Making Workshop on 19 January 2026 at M. Hall. Conducted by Mrs. Varshaben Pitroda, the workshop aimed to promote eco-friendly alternatives to plastic, develop practical skills, and encourage environmental responsibility and self-reliance among students. A total of 33 students actively participated in the hands-on session, learning simple, low-cost techniques for making paper bags. The programme raised awareness about sustainability, fostered skill-based learning, and received positive feedback from participants. The workshop successfully met its objectives of environmental awareness and student empowerment.

Nutrition, hygiene and women wellness seminar

The College Women Development Cell (CWDC) of Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, organised a one-day seminar on “Nutrition, Hygiene and Women’s Well-being” on 20 January 2026 in association with Lions Club Yuva, Gandhidham. A total of 56 girl students participated enthusiastically. Dr. Renu Chandanani, the resource person, guided students on balanced diet, personal hygiene, preventive healthcare, mental wellness, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle at different stages of a woman’s life. The seminar effectively raised awareness about nutrition, hygiene, and self-care, encouraging positive attitudes towards women’s health. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Archana Kella and coordinated by CWDC Coordinator Dr. Reena Nathani.

Thalassemia awareness and detection camp

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, in association with Lions Club of Gandhidham Yuva, organised a Thalassemia Awareness & Detection Camp for First Year students on 20 December 2025. An awareness session by Dr. Meera explained the importance of early detection and preventive care. Lion Sofiya Ganatra encouraged students to prioritise their health, while Principal Dr. Archana Kella appreciated the initiative and motivated participation in such programmes. A total of 107 blood samples were collected smoothly with active student cooperation. The camp proved informative and beneficial in promoting awareness about Thalassemia and preventive healthcare.

Road Safety Awareness Program

During Road Safety Month, Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, in collaboration with the District Traffic Police, organized a Road Safety Awareness Program on 23 January 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Officials guided students on traffic discipline and safe road practices. Mr. Shaileshbhai Rami from NHAI highlighted that youth are major victims of road accidents and stressed strict adherence to traffic rules. Through presentations and videos, students learned the importance of helmets, seatbelts, traffic signals, and avoiding over-speeding and drink-and-drive. Mr. Damabhai and Mr. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja explained road discipline. Principal Dr. Archana Kella addressed students, Dr. Reena Nathani administered the pledge, and Ms. Niyati Jethwa conducted the session. A total of 117 students attended.

ANANYAM: THE ANNUAL FEST 2026

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur successfully organized its Annual Fest “ANANYAM 2026.” This five-day celebration featured a blend of cultural, academic, and co-curricular activities aimed at nurturing students’ creativity, leadership skills, and overall development. The fest commenced with an Open Mic and Singing Competition, followed by Dance Competition, TIC Prince and Princess, Food Carnival, and Achievers Day, which recognized students’ accomplishments in academics, sports, co-curricular, and musical activities. Principal Dr. Archana Kella, along with staff members and dignitaries, graced the occasions. Students enthusiastically participated in various events and showcased their talents with remarkable performances. ANANYAM 2026 proved to be a vibrant platform that fostered creativity, collaboration, and confidence among students.

2 days Research Seminar

IQAC organized a two-day seminar titled “Desert to Data: Building Strong Research Foundation” on 22–23 December 2025 to promote research orientation among students. About 30 students and faculty members participated. Keynote speaker Dr. Kirit Chavda explained the basics of research, research problem selection, and research ethics. Principal Dr. Archana Kella felicitated the speaker and motivated students. The seminar was coordinated by Dr. Reena Nathani and concluded with a vote of thanks.

Milan Bohra Sem -IV was Top goal scorer in the event. 06 players selected in Uni team for the West Zone Inter University.

Inter college Yoga Competition

Tolani Institute of Commerce College hosted the Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kutch University Inter College Yoga Competition on 25. 9. 2025. In which the women's and men's team of Tolani Institute of Commerce became champions. Hadiya Hetal stood first in the individual championship among the all women's. While Suryadeep Singh Zala and Aditya Singh Rajput both stood third in the men's' section. Hetal Hadiya, Priya Panchal, Nisha Singh, Suman Pal, Aditya Rajput, Suryadeep Singh Zala and Kartik Varsani will represent Kutch University in the inter university competition to be held in Bangalore next November. The team players were coached and mentored by Physical Education Lecturer Dr. Navnit Jadav.

INTER COLLEGE SWIMMING COMPETITION

TIC shines at KSKV KACHCHH University Inter College Swimming Competition held at KDBA in which TICs Swimmers Kartik Varsani got 1st in the 50 meter Free style & 50 meter Back stroke. Kanojiya Nidhi came 1st in the women's section in the 50 meter freestyle and 50 meter backstroke.

On the occasion of Kaka Prinbhdas Tolani's Birth Anniversary, Rugby was inaugurated at TIC College today. The practice session commenced with a rugby ball marked with the sacred swastika.

20th YOUTH FESTIVAL

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur participated in the 20th Youth Festival ‘Kalakriti’ organized by KSKV Kachchh University on 17th and 18th September 2025. A total of 23 students represented the institute in diverse events including mime, skit, mono acting, classical dance (solo), on-the-spot painting, on-the-spot photography, collage, rangoli, and mehendi. In addition, 8 students showcased their culinary skills through the management of a food stall. The participation reflected the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm of the students while upholding the spirit of the festival.

The program included a brief introduction on the significance of NSS, followed by student activities and a pledge to serve society. Saptdhara Week

Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, celebrated Saptdhara Week from 31st July to 6th August 2025 with diverse competitions under Gyandhara, Sarjanatmak Abhivyaktidhara, Rangkala Kaushalyadhara, Sangeetdhara, Natyadhara, and Nrutyadhara. Around 60 students showcased talents in intellectual, artistic, musical, dramatic, and dance events. Winners were selected fairly and will represent the institute at the University Youth Festival. The week was a grand success, fostering creativity, teamwork, and holistic student development.

Thalassemia program

On March 1, 2024, Tolani Institute of Commerce, in collaboration with several organizations including the Indian Red Cross Society & Rotary Club Gandhidham, organized a Thalassemia Checkup & Awareness Program for first-year B.Com students. The event included blood testing for 134 students and an awareness session by Mr. Samir Shah. Supported by 12 NSS volunteers, the program aimed to promote early detection and awareness of Thalassemia.

Cleanliness Drive at TIC Date: 13/02/2024 The NSS wing of Tolani Institute of Commerce, Adipur, has successfully organized a one-day cleanliness campaign in the college and nearby areas. A total of 75 NSS volunteers were present and dedicated their efforts to the cause. One group of volunteers ardently cleaned the front side area of the college premises, while another group worked in outside areas. They undertook tasks such as plastic picking and cleaning the entire wall-side area up to the front side of the college building. Additionally, volunteers removed widespread thorns and bushes from the ground and cut down unwanted wild vegetation. They also cleaned the entire parking area and conducted plastic picking at Gopal Stadium. Furthermore, the NSS volunteers cleaned the entire 400-meter running track. Principal Dr. Archana Kella and NSS Program Officer Mr. Jaydeep Padhiyar guided the volunteers for this task.

MEETING FOR SAY NO TO DRUG ADDICTION The N.S.S meeting was held Saturday, June 26, 2019. The meeting was called by the Prof Nisha joshi Maharaj ( NSS CORDINATER) at 10:30 am. There were 10 members in meeting. The meeting was related to the program conduct by our college i.e, say no to drug addiction a poster making competition and ma’am give us instruction about the arrangement of competition .
